How to measure the dress properly:

Clothes can be measured on either a dress form or laid flat on a hard surface. You will need a sewing tape measure, but if you don’t have one, a non-stretchy string with a ruler/yardstick could be used in a pinch. I would also suggest a pen and paper, so you can measure everything at once and write it on paper.
Length: Shoulder to Hem – Measure the top of the shoulder straight down to the bottom hem
- Bust:– Measure under armpits across the garment and double
- Waist – Measure side seam to side seam at about 7 inches down from armpits and double - Hips - at the widest part of your hips across the garment. Compare the measurements taken of your favorite dress that you feel comfortable in with the measurements in the listing description. You are now ready to make a decision.
Remember some dresses have stretch to it so read carefully listing descriptions as the stretch may add some centimeters into the circumference of your favorite garment which could be helpful if you think the dress is too small for instance. In case you are not sure about the measurements please contact me to confirm the size.
