Authentic large freshwater pearls
Quality lustre double strand of pearls with beautful sparkly zircon elements.
The drop from the the closure to the bottom of the necklace without the statement drop-the one that sits closely around the neck is 11". The length from the closure to the end of the necklace with the statement drop is 15". I took measurements on flat surface placing necklace flat and took a proper length from the top downwards.
Diamater of each pearl -12-14 mm

1. Gently apply a baby shampoo or another mild soap using a soft manicure brush. ... Support the strand if the pearls are on a necklace (or bracelet-doesn't matter) ... Only use mineral water or distilled water to rinse your pearls. ... Gently dab the water and soap of your pearls with a dry, soft cloth.

Gently wipe pearls with a soft cloth to remove body oils or dirt before putting them away. ... Wrap the pearls in linen, soft cloth, or place in a soft pouch. Do NOT store pearls in an airtight package such as a plastic bag because pearls need moisture. If the environment is too dry, the pearls may crack.

3. Why Pearls Turn Yellow.

The chief reason that pearls turn yellow over time is that they become dry. If there is no air circulation and moisture where pearls are kept, their organic composition begins to change. As they dry out with time, such pearls lose their color and become yellowish.

4. THINGS TO AVOID WITH PEARLS:

Keep your pearls away from perfume, hairspray and fake tan. Don't wear pearls for aerobic exercise or swimming in treated water as they are damaged by excessive perspiration and chemicals.(v. IMPORTANT !)
Do not test the genuineness of a pearl by biting it with your teeth.
Never store pearls in a hanging position as it can stretch and damage the silk.
A storage place that is too dry or airless, for example, a sealed plastic bag, will dry the pearl.
